She was edger to travel and meet new people but her father keeps her locked up in the castle and never even lets her into the village surrounding the castle.

William looked up at Marshal as he grooms Nightmare's mane."Marshal." He grinned.

2012-07-12 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur looked to her, "The same, as a Lady anyway. People treat you like a Lady, they bow and curtsy, run off to do as asked.. Some will try to become friends with you because they are good, others will do it to better their position in life." She sighed, looking again to the sky. "Sometimes I wish I was a commoner."

Marshal looked at him, nodding his head because he couldn't exactly bow. "Lord William." He always gave a formal greeting, it had been whipped and beaten into him.

2012-07-12 [Cerulean Sins]: Luncania nodded."I guess so, Lady Fleur, and I'm guessing being a commoner would make life so much easier. I just want one day of freedom. Just one day to do as I please."

"How's Nightmare been?"William asked.

2012-07-12 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: "Maybe in some respects.. But many struggle to feed themselves and their family. They aren't allowed an education unless they can pay for it." Fleur smiled lightly, "One day to do as you chose.. I wonder what that would be like."

Marshal set the saddles in their place, dusting off his sleeves, "A little high strung today, fidgety. I think it's the new horses." He gestured to the stalls they reserved for guests. Four blue roan mares were slowly eating, drinking, but mostly resting.

2012-07-12 [Cerulean Sins]: "I think it would be heaven having one day to do as you please." Luncania smiled.

William nodded."I think Nightmare could just be jealous."He chuckled.

Marshal nodded, "Look much happier now that you're here."

William smiled a little."Yeah." He patted Nightmare's mane."Happy to see me, girl? Huh?"

Marshal smirked a little, "If you ever love a woman the way you love that horse, I think I'll die of shock."

William chuckled."No woman even compares to my Nightmare."

Marshal chuckled, "Funny, I got the impression that most women were nightmares."

William chuckled."And that is why I named my horse because of my sister."He smiled fondly. He loved his sister dearly but he did find her annoying at times.

2012-07-12 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur shook her head a little, "No, just myself, when I wasn't studying. Which was thirty minutes after I woke up, and thirty minutes before bed. Otherwise I had one or more tutors with me. Even through midtime meals."

Marshal chuckled a little, "Your sister is not a nightmare..." He paused, looked up at William, "Alright, maybe sometimes."

2012-07-13 [Cerulean Sins]: Luncania gasped softly."That is terrible." She whispered. She always had her brothers to play with when they weren't training and she played with the servant children.

William chuckled."All women are nightmares."

"And I hear your father has brought in one for marriage?" Marshal raised a brow. He knew a ton about what was going on, typically knowing things even the Baron's advisers didn't know about yet.

William nodded."Lady Fleur. I think the old man wants her as his wife."

Marshal raised a brow, "She's younger then his youngest son.." He shook his head a little, "I hope you're wrong, and he makes you or Henry marry her."

William nodded."I have no idea what that old man is up to, Marshal."

"Money and pedigree." Marshal said with a shrug, "You father knows he wont live forever, so now he's looking at how to keep his line going." He walked over, patting Nightmare gently, "Just like you wouldn't put your mare with an inferior stud, your father doesn't want his line to become lesser in the royal court because of who his children marry. If one of you marry her, your family's position in court will rise. Lady Fleur is from a long line of French royalty and high society families. Her German line isn't near as impressive, but her father's army is. The German King would be a good ally for anyone to have, even a Baron." It was almost scary how much he knew about how the royal court worked. "It doesn't hurt that marriage to her would secure a fortune close to your father's, possibly more if her father's wife bears him a son, and he chooses to recognize her-once there is no danger of her inheriting the crown."

William nodded."I know."He muttered with a sigh.

He raised both brows, "Those are usually the ones who end up miserable. If you don't know the person you marry, then you wont have many expectations of them. Means you wont have as many opportunities to disappoint one another."

William shrugged."I just don't want to be responsibly for making one woman and five or six children happy. It's hard enough to get Luncania happy but to try and figure out some woman you don't even know....well I think that is just a long term punishment."

2012-07-18 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur smiled, "Mmmm, only with an all woman crew. Else the men will never trust us. We're bad luck at sea you know." She stood as she started to walk around, "But I can see it now..Blue green waters, beautiful and mysterious.."

Marshal raised a brow, "Lady Luncania would be easier to please if she was allowed outside of these walls.. As for making a wife happy, you'll only need to worry about that if you fall in love. Otherwise, so long as you maintain enough money for her to employ ladies maid, she'll really only need you for that. And if you chose to have a child. She'll be useful for that, and keep the children happy. The boys would be easy, just teach them all the things you know. She would take care of the girls." He shrugged a little, "But I don't blame you. I'm lucky, marriage to me for any woman is unlikely, the orphan forced onto unwilling servants, raised to be no more then a stable hand...And an easy means of gossip. Nothing goes on here without me hearing of it."

William nodded."Father would never allow Lucy to leave the castle because if she did then....she won't have a head." It was sad but very true that Guy would kill his only daughter if she left the castle."And I don't plan to get married because it is too much work and going to war seems easier and less hassle."

2012-07-19 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur smiled, "The smell of spices too, after visiting a favorite port, our food will have some taste, for a while." She giggled.

Marshal nodded a little, "True.." He then scowled at William, "Don't you dare leave for war. If you go, so do your brothers. And then I'm left with a sobbing Luncania. Coming out here to cry because otherwise your father-or his advisers who would tell him- will probably see or hear her. Then he's cross with her and it goes on. Don't you remember the last time she had to come here, to me, to cry. The rumors that we're loves spread faster then fire in a hay field." He raised his brows, "And you put an end to it just before your father learned." He shook his head a little, glanced over his shoulder. There wasn't really anything he had to do at the moment. And this had to be the most he'd talked all day. He tended to do that, not talk until it was with someone he trusted, and almost never spoke to a woman. Not because he didn't trust them, just.. he didn't know how. With a man, he could be blunt.

Marshal just chuckled a little, stroking Nightmare's neck, "You take good care of her, I need to get back to work."

William nodded."Okay but I think myself and my brothers are going to the pub later tonight. So feel free to join us."

The moon was high in the sky, shinning bright and clear. Lord Guy had held a meeting with his sons, informing them that she was much too young for him-yes he'd thought about it. But making the girl a widow before her life had begun seemed oddly cruel to a man who took pleasure from whipping his own sons. He gave them one month to see if any of them liked her well enough to marry before her father wanted an answer. After that he had dismissed them and returned to his study to go over plans.

Henry and Geoffery went to the pub with William, though Marshal took some amount of convincing, and dragging to get there. Henry drank slowly, savoring his drink and the fun to be had. Geoffery drank faster, and turned into quiet the ladies man, two wenches at any time on his lap.

2012-07-24 [Cerulean Sins]: William paced himself as he drank his ale. He chatted with his brothers and Marshal. He needed to drown his sorrows from that horrid meeting he had with his father and brothers. He just couldn't believe that the old man was doing this to him and his brothers but he just wanted to know what would happen to Fleur if none of the brothers took her.

2012-07-24 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Marshal chatted with them, and some others that he knew, barely drinking ale at all. He would be there when the brother's needed directing home. They obviously had something troubling them. Geoffery always drank, but never this fast.. But they would tell him when they wanted to.

Henry leaned back as a woman sat on his lap, pouting and asking why he hadn't been coming to her lately. Henry smooth talked himself out of the slightly sticky situation, receiving a steamy kiss for all the sweet things he said. Then the woman stood and left.

2012-07-24 [Cerulean Sins]: William looked at his brothers."So what do you two think the old man will do with Fleur if we don't take her?"

2012-07-24 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Henry watched the woman, his younger brother had too many tongues in his mouth for him to speak, so he looked to William, "Send her back to her father. He says he will not marry her himself." He shrugged a bit. "Would that be horrible?"

Marshal took another swig of his ale, "You forget who her father is, I think that is who you have to worry about."

Henry nodded, "She is a tool he is using for alliances. He would not give her leave for anything but marriage."

Marshal agreed, "She has left her home only three times I think I herd... To visit her brother when he was alive, to visit a possible match elsewhere, and now to here. Her father had her under house arrest after the last arranged marriage fell through. And I overheard her father's men ask why he is wasting time, and not just hanging her to get it over with."

2012-07-24 [Cerulean Sins]: William nodded."True but Auntie Aimee is well known for her match-making. So perhaps maybe she could find a perfect husband or maybe someone that wants her."

Geoffery, "Why don't we ask her?" He raised a brow, "She knows the man, perhaps she could contact our Aunt for a back up plan, should none of use fall for those blue eyes and ample body." He snickered a little, finishing his drink, already having another waiting for him.

Five wenches where around Geoffery, complimenting him, stealing kisses, feeling him up, giggling at his jokes. They pretty much worshipped him.

[OH! I have an idea :D What if Luncania and Fleur escaped from the castle, dressed up as wenches and they pretend to work in the bar. Then Marshal or one of the brothers noticed Lucy and Fleur and all hell breaks lose XD]

Geoffery complimented them also, charming and sexy. At least he was kind to the women, was somehow able to make each feel special despite having many hanging around on him.

William heard his baby sister scream their names."Fools the lot of them." He stood up and rushed over to them.

He grabbed lucy around the waist, punched the man holding her, and set her off to the side, "What is going through your mind woman?" He demanded, but didn't have time to wait for an answer as a fight broke out.

Henry and Geoffery joined in, both cursing the two women.

William grabbed Fleur as he punched the man away. He looked down at her."Are you okay?"He asked as he pulled her from the fight.

"No, not really." Fleur whispered, shaking her head. She blushed brightly, she was so embarrassed, ashamed, and wished they'd gone with another plan to get away from their lives. Not that hers would be lasting much longer.

Henry punched, kicked and fought, "Nothing like women to liven things up, eh?" He shouted.

2012-07-25 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Marshal sighed a little, joining the fight full force now.

Fleur left the pub, glancing back to all the trouble they'd caused. She closed the door, then nicked two cloaks just laying there. They were decent enough, and they would cover them up, "Here." She said to Lucy.

2012-07-25 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy took a cloaks."Thank you. Are you okay?" She asked as she pulled on her cloak.

William grunted as he fought the drunken men in the pub.

2012-07-25 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur shook her head a little, wrapping the cloak tightly around her. "No. For they shall tell your father, then he mine. And my father shall send for me and charge me with false treason earlier then he states he shall. For in a letter this evening, he told me that if I do not marry now, then it is because I am working and plotting against him. And why should they wish to marry me now?" She tilted her head back to keep the tears from coming, "Oh why should we not have run away?" But she knew why, they'd both wanted to see what it was like as just common folks going to the pub.

Henry and Geoffery fought, until it started to die down. Some men stopped, laughing too hard they couldn't throw punches, others just got bored, and there were others too, but the fight was slowing down.

2012-07-25 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucy hugged Fleur tightly."My brothers won't tell on us. And all those men in there are too drunk to remember anything."

William sighed as he looked around at the trashed pub. Thankfully none of the towns folk knew what Lucy or Fleur looked like and they sure didn't know who they where.

My father is high king in Germany, he has money enough to make people turn their heads." She looked down, wiping her eyes lightly, "My true offense will be to fail at two chances of marriage. What he shall charge with me, I know not.. probably plotting against him for the crown.." She shrugged lightly.

Marshal walked out after William.

Henry nodded a bit, waving him off as he started to help the staff get people out of the way.

William sighed."Ladies it's time to get you back to the castle. And the only way I can do that is by letting the guards think Marshal and I have gotten lucky." He hated the idea but it was the only one that would work.

He got onto his knees."Hi Nightmare."He whispered knowing that Nightmare would go in a huff with him if he didn't say hi. He moved the straw and muck from the floor until he saw the door. He opened it."Right Lucy you first then Fleur. I'll take the long way and I'll go straight to your room Lucy and then I'll take Lady Fleur back to her room."He whispered.

Fleur made it down the ladder just fine, looking around the tunnels, "Wow.." She murmured.

William closed the door and he locked it."I hope they get out okay."

Marshal nodded, "I'm sure they will, but you'd better get in there. They think you've got a girl.. They may question what you're doing out here."

Fleur was walking down the hall toward her room, playing with the cloak a little and humming very softly. She looked up when she heard the voices of the men her father had sent with her. She froze when they spotted her, hoping it was enough distance that they didn't fully recognize her.. But they had an inclination, so she started searching for a way out.
